Days after violence broke out in Aligarh’s Muslim dominated Babri Mandi area, posters proclaiming, “yeh ghar bikau hai” (This house is for sale) have come up outside the houses of Hindus.
Hindu families residing in this sensitive area said that they want to sell off their property and move to “safer localities”, as they feel “threatened” whenever such incidents of violence occur in the locality.
