USA: Hindu Temple Vandalised

In a hate crime, a Hindu temple has been vandalised in the U.S. state of Kentucky by miscreants who sprayed black paint on the deity and left a knife stabbed into a chair in the main hall.

The incident happened at the Swaminarayan Temple in the Louisville city.

According to local media report, vandalism resulted in deity image sprayed with black paint, broken windows, walls spray-painted with inappropriate messages and graffiti. A knife was stabbed in the chair, and cabinets were emptied.

Karachi, Pakistan: Hindu Temple Vandalised

A Hindu temple in the Chachro area of Tharparkar district was vandalised by unidentified individuals over the weekend.

Police said four suspects entered the Maata Rani Bhitiyani temple during the wee hours of Saturday and vandalised idols and desecrated holy books.

“We visit the temple every week and when we reached on Saturday we saw smoke rising from the temple. The hands of the idols were broken and their faces were smeared with paint, said local resident Prem Kumar.
